London, 2022--the Not-so-Distant Future
Wizarding and Muggle society has combined with one another (though the Muggles still don't acknowledge magic). An epidemic of organ failures devastates the planet. Out of the tragedy, a savior emerges: PureGEN (short for PureGeneration Co), a magically-based biotech company that offers organ transplants, for a price. Those who miss their dues are scheduled for repossession and hunted by villainous Repossession Reapers (otherwise just known as Reapers)--dark and sinister assassins trained to hunt and find their marks. In a world where surgery addicts are hooked on painkilling drugs and murder is sanctioned by law, no one, wizard or Muggle is safe from the horrors that await. Once you enter their world, there is no turning back.

A Saviour emerges…
However, there is more behind PureGEN than meets the eye. Founded ten years ago by a young dark half-blood wizard, Sebastian Vega--a former, and seemingly reformed, follower of Voldemort--PureGEN has ties to both the Muggle and the Wizarding Worlds. After Hogwarts, Sebastian was a Healer, became a Muggle doctor, then followed Voldemort with his Death Eaters. But one would find it ironic that Wizards and Muggles could work together on something. Though in the same business, the two are worlds apart. Still, if you miss your payment, then PureGEN sends out the Reapers. Most nowadays call it the Devil's Bargain, and would rather die than have the Reapers come by their door.

PureGEN is proud to present… The Serpentine Opera!
One of the most infamous shows that a Corporation could ever devise, a so-called tribute to the former Dark Lord himself, well that's what it started out as. The Serpentine Opera is not only attended by the high ranking officials and board members of PureGEN, but also by the Ministry, and high-class wizards--including former Death Eaters that have risen from the shadows. Certain Muggles--the Prime Minister, the Royals of England, and others--are also allowed in with a charge. For the past few years the highlight of the show has been the Voice of PureGEN, Miss Magdalene Brightman, other wise known as Blind Mag. This special young lady came to the Opera by means of a transplant surgery and has been with the company ever since. She has made her own definite mark in PureGEN's history, and society as well.

Vega's Little Helpers
As of now there are two divisions of PureGEN. Muggles of the regular world--the ones gaining the profit for the company; and Wizards and Witches of the Magical Realm--who deal with getting service for the Dark side, as well as their own profit. Of course, Reapers can either be Wizard or Muggle, and can hunt anyone down until they retrieve the repossessed organ. Most have lives outside their murderous jobs, and it's taking their toll. You wouldn't think, though, that with Dark wizards wanting to kill off the Muggle borns, Half-Bloods, and any other disgrace to the magical name, that they would actually be working side by side. It's true. However, feuds go one very day between the groups, and they are constantly at odds on how to beat the other side. GENterns are the interns of the company, ranking the lowest of the low until they become surGENS, or one of PureGEN's other medical officials.

A Little Help comes in A Little Glass Vial…
With all the recent of surgeries and transplants rising higher and higher in the past, Magical Healers and Regular Scientists created a potion/drug known as Zydrate. Zydrate has been used in PureGEN's surgeries, rather than the former anesthesia and can be bought from them. This drug is highly expensive and very addicting, so of course not everyone can afford it. That's how the GraveRobbers were started. These parasites of both worlds peddle a cheap, knock-off version of Zydrate, stolen from repossessed bodies in the graveyard near the Tower. If caught, they are quickly disposed of.

Happiness is Not a Warm Scalpel
Outside the world of PureGEN is a different one, but it is blending into the company slowly. Students at Hogwarts School are different than what they used to be in the good old days of the Boy Who Lived. Our four Houses--Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin--still remain, but loyalties all lie on who has the most fame, the most money, or who is secretly dealing Zydrate--mostly it's to the latter. Kids take hit after hit, wanting take the edge off of everything. It works, but the kids know that if their caught, it's expulsion time, and a lot of explaining to their parents.

I hold no grudge…
Outside school, lives are happy, or so they seem. After all, they've all been saved by PureGEN and their efforts to stop the decimation of the whole of the human race, but some think is the company really all that it's cracked up to be? After all no one actually knows where the victims of the Reapers go after they've been marked for repossession. Scalpel sluts, or surgery addicts, are frequently becoming more common, though usually you can't tell who's had what done, or they are simply unrecognizable. Z-dealers, as users stay to the shadows, not wanting

Seeing You Stirs Memories…
But something is lurking in the shadows, something that wasn't to be expected by either side. The Dark Lord has returned. Some Wizards who have had replacement surgery--and couldn't pay their finances at the time--are now to be put into service, whether they want to or not. It's either run and face the Reapers later, or refuse and face them now. New and Old Order Members are now being called back into service and more and more Aurors are being called to duty each day, while descendants of the original Death Eaters are being called in as well. War is on it's way, and not even PureGEN can save the world from this…


So what is to happen to the Company when war strikes? Will PureGEN flourish or flounder on the edge of war? Will the world become a much more graver place than it already has turned out to be? Well, maybe you should figure it out for yourself…
