Jane sat in the common room by the fire she was thinking about some of her lessons she was a little bit home sick. Especially since she missed her twin brother Alec he always knew how to keep her entertained and happy. Then her mind went to some of the Gryffindor boys a few had tried flirting with her but only one held her interest and he didn't even know she existed how sad was that. She began twirling her wand inbetween her fingers as bored as ever.

Sauntering into the commons Jilli was not surprised to see it mostly empty. It was one of those days that most students were out doing some form of mischief or socializing. Jillian would usually be with them but today it was a well needed rest day for her. Spotting a girl by the fire Jilli skipped over and fell down in a chair next to her. She had seen the girl around and new her by name, if not really personally.
"Hey kiddo what are you doing in here on a free day. You should get out there and have some real fun. No use being stuck indoors with an oldie like me." the sixth year said while tapping the other girl's nose.
It was hard to take offense when Jillian was obviously in such a good mood. She never meant anything by it, it was just in her nature to tease the younger lot; probably since she had two younger siblings herself. Besides, the girl was adorable and looked like she could use a little laugh or two. Which, of course, meant Jilli was there to supply it if at all possible. Flicking her red locks back in a dramatic fashion she leaned over conspiritorially and whispered.
"Do you have a problem you need to get off your chest? You can tell big sis I'll do whatever I can to help you solve it."

"Well I like this guy be he doesn't know I exist but it's fine you don't have to help me with it I can figure out something on my own" Jane told Jillian it was probably nothing to her I mean Jillian was pretty she must have a thousand boys after her why would her crush like her. "If I was as pretty as you he would probably like me" Jane said in a dismissive tone. "But enough about me why are you here on a beautiful day?' Jane asked as she started getting more comfortable talking to her fellow Gryffindor.

Smiling encouragingly Jillian reached over and threw her arm over the girl. Why did they always feel like they weren't pretty enough. The kid was so darn cute even Jillian was sure the boy was blind if he didn't like her. Look at her big puppy eyes, they were making Jilli want to hug her let alone what they would do to a boy.
"Dear you are a beautiful little creature. Do you know what I would do for Puppy eyes like that? I am flattered you think I am pretty you are such a sweetie for saying so but well...guys like girls that look like you. " Jillian said this with full conviction as she smiled down at the other girl.
"What is this boys name we'll come up with a plan of attack. Heck maybe I know him and can find out for you. I'm sure if you just show some confidence and let him know you like him he'll be very happy."
It was fun to play the matchmaker anyways so why shouldn't she offer to help. Might as well get a new friend and create some mischief in the process right?

Jane giggled a bit she liked Jillian. "Thanks I like your thinking and his name is Aenghus Kildare he's a year older than me" Jane explained thinking about the fourth year gryffindor. "His older sister gave me some advice at lunch and she thinks I should talk to him and maybe be direct" She said a little uneasily about the whole direct thing what if he didn't like her?
(ooc: and Jane's eyes are grey)

(ooc: okay but they are still puppy ish in their biggness...soooo cute)
"I know Aenghus he's a pretty good looking fella. You have good taste I see. He's also a very nice guy and I"m sure if you talked to him and got comfortable that something might come of it. You'll never know till you try though right?" Jilli said with a raised eyebrow.
If Aenghus was a little older Jillian might have liked him to, with his accent and good nature. He was also brave which was a must for Jilli, however, he was to young but not to young for a friend. Jillian made up her mind then and there to befriend both of the younger Gryffies and help them along. What else was being a 6th year for? She was already almost done with school she might as well help those who would be stuck here longer.

Jane smiled at what Jillian said about Aenghus. "He saved my life in a way a few days ago actually, a slytherin girl called me a mudblood and he got mad at her it started the fight in the great hall it was every house against Slytherin" she said it was an amazing sight and battle. "Some Slytherin boy made me fly against the wall and my head started bleeding he carried me to the hospital wing" (see the thread Ancient Greek to me). But perhaps Jillian was there as well the fight was pretty amazing and no one really got hurt even aine's victims returned to their normal state eventually.
