The Magic of Gossip
Deep in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado sits an academy for students ranging from 14 to 18 years of age. Parelli Academy is not just another boarding school. It is a school for special kids (aka, those with magic). The students are chosen for multiple reasons, although they all receive their letters just after they finish their last year of junior high. Parelli Academy is known only to the students, staff, and their family members. It remains unknown to the general public, mainly because they still refer to humans with magic as 'freaks.'
So stepping through the front door of Parelli Academy is like stepping into a completely different world, a magical world. But, of course, some things can never change. Dueling in the hallways, playing pranks on the smaller kids, fighting over boyfriends... not even a magical school can avoid these. And then there is Miss Parelli, the gossip central for Parelli Academy. A student, unknown to the staff and her peers, has set up a gossip hotline to add some flair to the school. Any student can send in tips to Miss Parelli by texting or to her website, and she will send them on to the entire school. But of course, as long as the school remains within the knowledge of only the magical world, the staff is happy. Can you survive this twisted school of knowledge known as Parelli Academy?
